I just found this inspirational for my current endeavors.
I’m sure he wasn’t taking a jab at the Tour De France.
Thank God track is comparably inexpensive. My one instance of being shut out was my cross-country coach in high school excluding me from away meets because my family didn’t have a car. Then there’s missing out on the Running School (a local track camp) but I just ran alone, it’s not like team sports where you need other players. But by far the most insidious was my cross-country coach
This isn’t right. The low-income kids being shut out denies them a chance to get good enough to get a college scholarship
